Duties
- Operate and maintain Med Cart equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning correctly
- Perform diagnostic tests according to established protocols, accurately recording results for review by medical staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times
- Maintain detailed records of tests performed, results obtained, and equipment maintenance logs
- Support inventory management by monitoring supplies and ordering necessary materials to prevent disruptions
- Administer Medications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Technician or in a similar clinical laboratory role
- Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, diagnostic testing methods, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a Senior Living environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies (e.g., Medical Laboratory Technician certification)
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
