Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions and order processing
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cashing out customers accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling stations
- Assist with food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast-food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and serve customers confidently
