Responsibilities

- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Maintain detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and medical histories using veterinary software.
- Assist with animal handling tasks such as restraint during examinations or treatments when needed.
- Support kennel operations by coordinating pet drop-offs, pick-ups, and care instructions.
- Facilitate communication between veterinary staff and pet owners regarding treatment plans or follow-up care.
- Uphold clinic cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe environment for animals, staff, and clients.
- Handle laboratory sample processing or preparation as required by veterinary procedures.
Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in animal care environments with relevant skills including veterinary terminology, animal handling, and pet grooming. Prior experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles is highly valued. Additional qualifications that enhance your candidacy include:
