The Addiction Therapist provides emotional or mental health therapy or counseling in an outpatient setting, facilitates therapy sessions for patients, assesses mental or emotional disorders, gathers and interprets social, personal, environmental and health information, develops treatment plans and individual goals, and modifies plans over time in response to patient progress.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology or Social Work Required
Experience
2 years experience in the clinical field Required
2 years experience in treating patients with addiction Required
Licenses
PA Cert Alcohol&Drug Counselor Preferred or
PA Lic Professional Counselor Preferred or
PA Social Worker License Preferred
