Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces to ensure a pristine environment for all visitors
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities in guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures using industry-standard equipment and cleaning agents
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene standards, security procedures, and confidentiality
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces
- Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently using specialized equipment
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Effective time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
