Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual (additional language) is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers
