We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team in providing essential support to individuals with disabilities. This role is based in our facilities across various locations and is crucial to ensuring the well-being and quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Facilitate community involvement and social activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Document daily activities and progress in client records
- Collaborate with team members/management to enhance client care
Qualifications
Required:
-Must be able to pass Drug Test and Background Check-
- Experience working in a group home or similar setting
- Strong understanding of first aid and CPR procedures
- Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills
