Our growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team and play a key role quality and project execution.
The Role
The Project Manager supervises the build process according to the Project Schedule making adjustments as needed; ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with building codes and OSHA safety standards. This role works closely with the Operations Manager and Superintendents to maintain quality and reduce build times.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise the Superintendents build progress according to the Project Schedule in the Project Management Program. Coach on schedule as needed
- Negotiate with Trades on Job Budgets when Superintendents cannot
- Always maintain a good open line of communications with Clients
- Maintain a record for the Bonus Program for each Superintendent
- Work with the Operations Manager to reduce build time and improve quality
- Lead Punchout with the Superintendent
- Walk all jobs for code compliance
- Evaluate Superintendents quarterly with the Operations Manager
- Be aware of Deliveries and Verify Inventories on Jobsites
- Oversee Warranty issues with the Administration and Field teams
What We’re Looking For
- General construction knowledge
- Understanding of project plans, surveys, etc.
- Maintaining good a driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service
- Dependability, Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent preferred; or ability to obtain within 90 days
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to walk, kneel, crawl, and climb during site inspections.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
