We are an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of custom equipment and pressure vessels. Our clients include some of the largest oil refineries in North America. We are seeking a qualified Draftsman to take responsibility for the drafting and modeling of equipment as specified by our clients.
Drafting position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Prepare detailed drawings after extensive review of customer specifications.
- Model equipment using 3D Auto-CAD and convert the model into 2D drawings.
- Generate Bill of Materials for equipment.
- Perform material take-offs to generate material lists required for the project.
Qualifications and skills include but are not limited to the following:
- 2-3 years related work experience in the filed of drafting/designing preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including advanced skills in critical software applications such as 2D and 3D Auto-CAD and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Solid Works would be considered a plus, but not a requirement.
