General Laborer – Foam & Assembly Department
Location: Military Road, Kenmore, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute paid breaks)

Position Summary
The General Laborer in the Foam and assembly Department supports our production efforts by assembling packaging products and preparing them for shipment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a physical work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble boxes using stapling or taping equipment
- Operate glue machines to bond foam according to customer specifications
- Bundle and palletize materials for storage or shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other tasks as directed by the manager
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic math and read fractional measurements (1/8”, 1/4”, etc.)
- Able to read a tape measure accurately
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including:
- Standing, bending, climbing stairs/ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling
Working Environment
- Work is primarily on the production floor
- Safety gear provided (glasses, hearing protection, dust masks)
- Closed-toe shoes required (steel-toe not required)
- Heated production area during winter months
Physical Requirements
Standing for extended periods
Frequent walking, bending, and climbing
Use of pallet jacks and handheld tools
Regularly move items up to 50 lbs.
Interact with team members and occasional external contacts (e.g., drivers)
Ability to inspect incoming or outgoing products
