Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking an ambitious, mission-driven Grade 5 STEM Teacher to help build and strengthen students' skills and understandings in Science, Technolody, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our educators take an inquiry and skills-based approach to teaching and learning, and we believe in providing equitable access and opportunities for all students.Responsibilites: -Deliver well-designed, engaging lessons that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks-Establish a highly structured, safe, and achievement-oriented classroom environment-Implement accommodations and modifications to ensure equitable opportunities for all learners-Maintain proactive, regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student academic progress-Provide timely grade posts and ensure the active, daily utilization of Google Classroom.-Partner closely with grade-level, Math, Science, and special education teams-Engage in active collaboration, professional reflection, and professional development-Serve as an advisor for a small group of Grade 5 students, supporting their personal, social, and academic growth within our community-oriented model
