Commerce Ink is a full-service Amazon agency managing Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts for a portfolio of brands across North America, Europe, and Australia. We handle everything from account management and advertising to content, creative, and logistics. Our clients trust us to run their Amazon business like it’s our own, and inventory is the backbone of that trust: no stock, no sales.
The Role
The Inventory Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for inventory planning and sales forecasting across our clients’ digital channels, including Amazon (1P and 3P), other marketplaces, and DTC where applicable. You will own the daily inventory operations for our client brands, working closely with our Brand Management, Advertising, and Senior teams to keep products in stock, shipments on time, and forecasts accurate.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, comfortable in spreadsheets, and eager to build a career in ecommerce operations.
What You’ll Do
- Shipment operations: Handle daily shipment creation, reconciliation, and inbound planning into Amazon FBA and retailer warehouses (FC transfers, PO fulfillment, carton and pallet compliance)
- Forecasting and replenishment: Build and maintain annual and rolling sales forecasts; manage inventory planning and replenishment cadences to balance in-stock rates against storage costs and aged inventory risk
- Performance reporting: Measure and report on in-stock rates, fill rates, and buy box performance; recommend continuous improvement strategies to leadership and clients
- Cross-functional partnership: Work with Brand Management, Advertising, and Creative teams on product launches, promotions (Prime Day, holiday), and merchandising to ensure inventory supports demand
- Market research: Monitor category trends, seasonality, and competitor stock behavior to sharpen forecasts
What We’re Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in ecommerce, supply chain, inventory planning, or a related analytical role (internships count)
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups; bonus points for forecasting models)
- Exposure to Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central is a plus, not a requirement; we will train the right person
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; small errors in shipments and catalogs create big downstream problems
- Clear written and verbal communicator, comfortable summarizing data for clients and teammates
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
Why Commerce Ink
- Direct exposure to a dozen brands across categories, from consumer goods to outdoor gear
- Small team, real ownership: your forecasts and recommendations go straight to clients
- Mentorship from operators who have managed nine-figure ecommerce portfolios
- Competitive salary, benefits, and PTO (details shared during the interview process)
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
