Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Lead Maintenance professional to oversee and manage maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive background in industrial maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as the ability to supervise a team effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and manage maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hotel HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Utilize voltmeters and schematics for diagnosing electrical issues and performing repairs.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance tasks and projects.
- Implement and manage a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities, schedules, and inventory.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Develop maintenance plans that prioritize preventative measures to minimize downtime.
- Train team members on best practices in maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel/industrial maintenance with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in using voltmeters, reading schematics, and performing electrical troubleshooting and pool system operations.
- Experience with CMMS software is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear instructions among team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
