Part Time CT/XRAY Technologist needed for a fast growing diagnostic imaging company.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at a diagnostic imaging center (radiology). The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Duties:
- Conduct CT scans following proper protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging results
- Utilize medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information
- Operate CT scanner with proficiency and attention to detail
- Provide exceptional patient care during imaging procedures
Requirements:
- Certification in Radiologic Technology and CT scanning
- Proficiency in using CT equipment and software
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Experience in ER or Level II Trauma Center preferred
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology and emergency medicine
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately
- Skilled in aseptic technique for patient safety
- Experience with sonography and mammography is a plus
