Who we are looking for.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our retail operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized store environment to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and fitting rooms
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the store
- Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in stockrooms, entrances, and customer areas
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Flexible schedule — may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a retail store environment, including sales floors, stockrooms, and exterior areas.
- May require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts for emergency repairs.
