As a top Amazon seller in our category, we are committed to delivering an exceptional online shopping experience while continuously expanding our market presence. We are seeking an experienced Amazon Channel Manager to help drive growth, maintain marketplace compliance, and optimize our Amazon business. This position is 100% onsite.
Position Summary
The Amazon Channel Manager is responsible for managing and growing the Company's Amazon marketplace business. It provides direction and oversight to a team of support specialists who assist in managing daily operations and account health. This role combines marketplace operations, compliance management, product listing optimization, advertising strategy, inventory oversight, and customer experience initiatives.
What You'll Do
Marketplace Performance & Compliance
- Monitor Amazon Seller Central performance metrics daily, including Order Defect Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Pre-Fulfillment Cancel Rate, Valid Tracking Rate, and On-Time Delivery Rate.
- Develop and submit Plans of Action when performance metrics require correction.
- Investigate and resolve customer disputes and account performance issues.
- Monitor and manage Intellectual Property (IP) complaints, policy violations, and listing compliance issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Amazon support to resolve account and listing concerns.
Product Listings & Content Optimization
- Create, optimize, and maintain Amazon product listings.
- Develop compelling product content, enhanced brand content, and A+ pages.
- Apply SEO best practices and keyword research to improve product visibility and conversion rates.
- Work closely with Content Specialists to launch new products and improve existing listings.
- Manage Amazon storefronts and brand registry initiatives.
Sales Growth & Strategy
- Analyze Amazon reports and marketplace data to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop seasonal and annual marketplace strategies.
- Partner with Amazon advertising representatives to improve campaign performance and profitability.
- Conduct competitive research to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and new product opportunities.
- Recommend products for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) while ensuring margin objectives are achieved.
Inventory & Operations
- Monitor FBA inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Prepare and ship inventory to Amazon fulfillment centers as needed.
- Work with Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and product availability.
- Address product quality concerns and collaborate with internal teams to implement corrective actions.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Present monthly performance reviews to management highlighting key metrics, accomplishments, and future initiatives.
- Support cross-functional eCommerce projects and contribute to department goals.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of Amazon Seller Central experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an eCommerce environment.
- Experience managing Amazon account health, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
- Experience creating and optimizing product listings, storefronts, and A+ Content.
- Strong product copywriting and content optimization skills.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimization.
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to Amazon policy and platform changes.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing catalog heavy ( high SKU count) B2C accounts.
Preferred
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software.
- Basic HTML knowledge.
- Experience with webpage creation and digital merchandising.
