As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless dining experience. You will be the energetic link between the kitchen and the dining area, delivering food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of service. What you’ll do
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to tables with speed and accuracy, ensuring each order is correct and presented beautifully.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy shifts, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines, ensuring that all dishes are handled properly from preparation to service.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Background in culinary arts or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service or large event setups.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
