Key Responsibilities – Trailer Sales Professional
As a Trailer Sales Representative, you will:
- Sell new and used trailers (horse trailers, stock trailers, living quarters trailers, flatbeds, etc.)
- Assist customers in selecting the right trailer for their towing needs
- Walk customers through the full sales process: quotes, financing, trade-ins, delivery
- Use CRM software to manage leads, schedule follow-ups, and track communication
- Answer online inquiries and convert digital leads into in-store appointments
- Support the sales team at trade shows, events, and promotions
- Help stage, move, and prep trailers for delivery (must be able to lift 100 lbs)
- Perform light administrative tasks and assist with dealership operations
Preferred Qualifications
The right candidate for this Trailer Sales job will have:
- Experience in RV sales, marine sales, auto sales, or agricultural equipment sales
- Comfort working on commission and meeting sales targets
- A strong understanding of the western, rodeo, ranching, or livestock lifestyle
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and by phone/email
- A strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to work weekends and attend events as needed
- A desire to grow into a leadership role as the dealership expands
