HVAC Instructor – Contract
Work Location: Mobile, AL
Job Type: Contract – 6 Weeks (Temp-to-Perm)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30pm-10:30pm (Part-Time)
Alto Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to step into an instructional role for a 6-week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent faculty position. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned technician who enjoys mentoring others and wants to help develop the next generation of HVAC professionals.
What you’ll do:
- Teach HVAC fundamentals, troubleshooting, safety, and hands-on lab skills
- Demonstrate proper techniques and guide students through practical training
- Evaluate student performance and maintain progress records
- Support curriculum goals and foster a positive learning environment
- Promote safe and professional industry practices
What we’re looking for:
- EPA 608 Certification (required)
- Minimum 3 years of in-field HVAC experience
- Strong communication and mentorship skills
- Prior teaching/training experience helpful but not required
- Ability to work effectively with adult learners
