Plaintiff - Personal Injury Case Manager/Paralegal - Bergen County
A prominent plaintiff’s law firm based in Teaneck, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury (Plaintiff) Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate must possess 3-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required. Medical malpractice experience is a plus. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered.

Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 annual
Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:

Handle all aspects of personal injury files from filing the complaint until the conclusion of the case

Maintain frequent and compassionate communication with clients regarding case status, treatment progress, and legal steps

Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement demands
-
Coordinate with medical providers to obtain and summarize records and bills
-
Prepare cases for arbitration, mediation, and trial as necessary

Track deadlines and manage attorney calendars to ensure timely filings and appearances
Qualifications:-
Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented

Minimum 3 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law (required)

Strong understanding of New Jersey tort law, court procedures, and e-filing systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in legal case management software

Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of Trial Pad and/or TrialWorks is a plus

Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is necessary
