Home Financing Center is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our team in Coral Gables, FL.
We're looking for someone with 5+ years of mortgage processing experience, preferably in a retail mortgage environment, who can confidently manage loans from application through closing. The ideal candidate has significant experience with Non-QM loan products, including bank statement, DSCR, P&L, asset qualifier, and foreign national loans.
Responsibilities
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Collect and organize borrower documentation
- Submit and manage files through underwriting
- Review and clear underwriting conditions
- Order and review credit, appraisal, title, and other required documentation
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, real estate agents, and third-party vendors
- Track loan progress and ensure timely closings
- Identify and resolve issues proactively
Qualifications
- 5+ years of mortgage loan processing experience required
- Retail mortgage lending experience preferred
- Extensive experience with Non-QM loans, including: Bank Statement DSCR, P&R, Asset Qualifier, and Foreign National.
- Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA guidelines
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
