Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support operations within a government contracting environment. This role provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and internal policies.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 remote; subject to change)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to executives, managers, and project teams
- Manage correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and government-related communications
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Order office supplies and manage inventory levels
- Assist with procurement, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Prepare, review, and maintain contract-related documentation and reports
- Support compliance tracking in alignment with federal regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, records, and sensitive documents
- Assist with proposal development (formatting, compiling, and proofreading)
- Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
- Maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive or proprietary information
- Provide front desk and general office support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience (government contracting experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with government contracting processes and tools (FAR, DFARS, SAM.gov) is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Work Environment
- Office-based role with standard business hours
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Regular interaction with government personnel, contractors, and subcontractors
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000 (based on experience)
