What You’ll Do
You will work closely with technicians and support staff to ensure daily pharmacy operations run safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Depending on whether you join as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager, responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, interactions, allergies, contraindications, and therapeutic duplication
- Supervising prescription preparation and final dispensing
- Counseling patients on medication use, side effects, storage, adherence, and interactions
- Communicating with patients, caregivers, prescribers, and pharmacy staff
- Resolving prescription clarifications, refill requests, transfers, insurance rejections, and prior-authorization issues
- Supporting technicians and helping prioritize workflow
- Maintaining accurate patient profiles, prescription records, and required documentation
- Reviewing inventory, medication availability, recalls, expired products, and ordering needs
- Assisting with medication synchronization and adherence concerns
- Administering vaccinations when applicable and properly trained
- Maintaining an organized, compliant, and patient-focused pharmacy
- For the Pharmacy Manager role, providing additional leadership and oversight of daily pharmacy operations

Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
- Management or leadership experience preferred for Pharmacy Manager candidates
- Strong knowledge of medication safety, prescription processing, pharmacy law, and insurance billing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong patient-counseling and communication skills
- Ability to guide and support pharmacy technicians
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable overseeing daily operations
- Calm and professional when managing multiple responsibilities

Pay: $64.06 - $78.15 per hour
