Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, particularly in a daycare or private school setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, behavior management, and providing care for toddlers, including those with special needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
- Provide attentive care to toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with disabilities and autism.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
- Create a structured daily schedule that includes educational activities, playtime, and rest periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with children with disabilities or autism.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while fostering a supportive learning environment.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or related fields are a plus.
