Job Title: Program Manager - Aerospace
Job Description
This role involves leading integrated product teams for the successful launch and execution of new aerospace programs. The Program Manager will ensure the achievement of cost, schedule, and technical goals through various phases, including product design, development, qualification, and full-rate production.
Responsibilities

Lead integrated product teams by providing direction from the program management plan.

Ensure programs remain on track in areas of schedule, cost, and program objectives.

Act as the focal point for customer relationships and maintain customer satisfaction.

Manage new programs through the Product Development Process (PDP) to reduce time and cost to market.

Create and manage new programs following the phase gate process.

Conduct weekly and monthly meetings to discuss program progress, schedule, and budget.

Collaborate with the finance team to develop program budgets and track performance.

Train and mentor IPT Leaders to improve team performance and transparency.

Communicate with customers regarding program status and respond promptly to feedback.

Prevent 'scope creep' by creating accurate proposals and estimates.

Support negotiations of proposals, contracts, and terms and conditions.
Essential Skills-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical engineering preferred) or business administration (Finance/Marketing).

Minimum seven years’ experience with progressive responsibility leading to Program Management.

Formal training in Program Management (Phase Gate, QFD, LEAN, Six Sigma).

Experience in aerospace industry supplying to primes and tier 1.

Knowledge of metal fabrication including joining, welding, and brazing.

Familiarity with CNC machining and related processes.

Experience with exotic metals such as titanium, stainless steel alloys, Inconel, aluminum, and nickel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications-
MBA is a plus.

Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts.

Customer-focused with a strong emphasis on cost and schedule management.
Work Environment
The Program Manager will actively engage with various departments, the manufacturing floor, hold customer meetings, and work in an open cubicle environment. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility, but does not offer hybrid or remote work options.

This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
health, dental, vision, 401k, 2 weeks PTO, 13 holidays which includes a holiday shut down. Eligible for bonus and merit increases each year
