This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position working a mix of evening and longer day shifts. Shifts are typically 6-13 hours long. Employees will typically work 4-5 days per week to get their 40 hours in. Every other weekend required. $18/hr start pay with opportunity for advancements. PTO after 90 days. Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions or major infractions, high school diploma or equivalent and able to pass a background check. Also, we have a no substance abuse policy.
```Duties```
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals
```Experience```
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
