Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor beverage levels to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with mixology techniques to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods or special events like banquets and catering functions
Experience
- Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant setting, particularly in fine dining or hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, craft beer, and cocktail mixing techniques including beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and basic math skills related to retail math and cash handling
- Skilled in customer service with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty and satisfaction
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices including bar management, beverage presentation, and serving etiquette
