As a Mover/Driver, you'll lead a crew of 2–4 team members each day, safely operating our moving trucks and setting the standard for great service on every job. This is a physically demanding role that also calls for strong customer service skills, since you'll be representing Glass City Movers in our customers' homes. Join our team and help us continue building our brand as Toledo's go-to moving company.
Job Duties
- Safely operate company moving trucks to and from job sites
- Carefully pack, wrap, load, and unload household goods and furniture
- Lead and coordinate your crew throughout the day
- Inventory property and complete required paperwork
- Provide A+ customer service on every job
- Arrive to work on time and in uniform
Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Valid DOT medical card (or able to obtain one before starting)
- Comfortable driving a moving truck (no CDL required)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience in general labor preferred
- Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) throughout the day
- Good hand-eye coordination and dependability
