American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position, with state licensure required and rehabilitation setting experience preferred.

Acute care hospital setting, working within the PT unit

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
-
26-week contract

Current state PT license required (license required if applicable)

Minimum 2 years of direct patient physical therapy care and treatment experience preferred

Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred

Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Responsibilities include direct patient care, functional evaluation, and development of individualized treatment plans

Evaluates treatment effectiveness and modifies plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes

Assesses and addresses patient, family, and caregiver educational and cultural needs to maximize care benefits

Maintains thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment goals, plans, and discharge preparation in accordance with hospital guidelines

Coordinates and supervises support staff as part of care delivery
