Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment
- Replace / repair damaged parts
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical / hydraulic issues
- Utilize software to access equipment specifications and repair procedures
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Skills:
- Strong electrical knowledge and experience in diagnosing electrical issues
- Proficient in diesel engine repair and replacement procedures
- Experience working in a rental or similar environment preferred
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic problems
- Proficient in using hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
