Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to provide personalized recommendations and enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment efficiently.
- Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders as needed, and minimizing waste through effective stock rotation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or hotel/bar management experience is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail mixing techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems , along with cash handling procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Experience working with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
