Are you a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? Matt Blatt Nissan is seeking dedicated Lot Porters to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot, ensuring a positive experience for our customers. NO AGENCIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Organization: Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dealership lot by moving and parking vehicles in designated areas. Ensure that vehicles are arranged neatly and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Lot Maintenance: Perform routine lot maintenance tasks, including sweeping, trash removal, and snow removal during inclement weather. Keep walkways clear and safe for customers and staff.
- Vehicle Preparation: Assist in preparing vehicles for delivery to customers, including washing and vacuuming vehicles, removing protective coverings, and installing license plates and registration tags.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous assistance to customers as needed, such as directing them to the appropriate department or answering basic inquiries about vehicle availability.
- Assistance to Sales and Service Departments: Support the sales and service departments by transporting vehicles between the dealership lot and service bays, as well as assisting with vehicle deliveries and pickups as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues in various departments to achieve common goals.
- Customer Focus: Friendly and customer-focused attitude with a desire to provide excellent service to customers.
- Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be able to be on feet 99% of the time.
