The Loose Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for generating profitable sales growth through the development and expansion of customer relationships related to emergency response equipment, firefighter equipment, rescue tools, breathing air systems, safety products, and related solutions within an assigned territory.
Essential Functions and Core Responsibilities

Develop and manage an assigned territory to achieve revenue and gross profit objectives.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within fire service, EMS, industrial safety, municipal, and emergency response markets.

Build and maintain longterm customer relationships.

Conduct customer visits to identify equipment needs and growth opportunities.

Sell and support SCBA equipment, rescue tools, PPE, breathing air systems, thermal imaging equipment, gas detection equipment, and related products.

Assist customers with product selection, demonstrations, evaluations, and recommendations.

Maintain strong product knowledge and required manufacturer certifications.

Achieve revenue, profitability, and territory growth goals.

Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.

Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations.

Collaborate with internal departments and manufacturer representatives to support customer success.

Safely operate a companyowned vehicle or personal vehicle for authorized business purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policies, safety requirements, and vehicleuse expectations.

Attend required manufacturer, vendor, and companysponsored training to maintain product knowledge, certifications, and job proficiency.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous sales experience required.

Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to maintain an acceptable driving record, required insurance when using a personal vehicle, and maintaining company driving authorization.

Ability to travel throughout assigned territory.
Preferred Education, Certifications, and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience in emergency equipment, industrial safety, fire service, municipal sales, or heavy equipment industries preferred.

Knowledge of public procurement processes preferred.
This role supports first responders and emergency response organizations by providing critical life-safety equipment while driving customer success, territory growth, and long-term company performance.

Ability to work in office, shop, field, and operational environments while overseeing teams, locations, or business activities. This role may require computer-based work, walking through operational areas, communicating with employees and customers, occasional travel, and exposure to shop, warehouse, field, or service environments.
