Fresca Farms is seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Executive to manage and grow our mass market accounts. In this role, you will be at the forefront of bringing fresh floral products to large-scale retail channels — including grocery chains, big-box retailers, and club stores. You must thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and be capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining an exceptional level of service. Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing market demands are essential.
This is a team-driven sales position where collaboration, ownership, and attention to detail are key to success.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily sales strategies targeting mass market retail accounts.
- Build and nurture relationships with buyers and key contacts at large retail chains.
- Manage data processing and analysis including purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with all links in the supply chain (manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance) to ensure orders are fulfilled within delivery windows.
- Prospect new mass market accounts continuously.
- Create and offer bouquet programs for mass market customers, and present programs to mass market buyers.
- Monitor sell-through rates and market trends to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Assist in managing sales promotions, pricing, distribution planning, and administrative responsibilities.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the mass market channel.
- Enhance the company's reputation by accepting ownership of results and continuously looking for ways to add value.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Some traveling required.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred but not required.
- Relevant experience in mass market, grocery, or retail sales — floral product experience is a strong plus.
- Strong communication skills: effective, professional verbal and written communication with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts and multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications, particularly Excel, including functions and formulas.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain the integrity of all reporting and data.
- Self-motivated, organized, and punctual with a positive, team-player attitude.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required.
