DUTIES: Provides a variety of support services to personnel of the police department. Cadet duties include responding to non-emergency calls for service including using software information to take calls and record information; serving as receptionist; performing parking enforcement and speed trailer deployment; performing pawn ticket details; performing duties of substitute school crossing guard; and assisting with traffic control at special events and major accidents.
REQUIREMENTS: Age 18+; valid driver’s license; good character and personal history.
SALARY: Pay Grade 10; $13.50 per hour; plus sick and vacation benefits
WORK HOURS: 20 hours per week; flexible schedule
