Duties:
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, excel to record financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation by maintaining precise records and performing data entry tasks efficiently.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly through account reconciliation procedures involving debits & credits and double-entry bookkeeping practices.
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards along with experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with various accounting software platforms including QuickBooks, excel is required.
- Experience handling complex financial concepts like balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation is necessary.
- Excellent math skills combined with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis are critical.
- Ability to perform under deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment is essential.
