Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Experienced Painter/Carpenter to join our renovation and construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, bringing spaces to life through expert painting, carpentry, and restoration skills. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by cleaning, sanding, plastering, or applying primers.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects using hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and power tools to achieve smooth, durable finishes.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately measure, cut, and install trim, fixtures, or custom carpentry features.
- Perform framing, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work as needed for renovation projects.
- Install fixtures such as lighting, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other hardware with precision.
- Conduct restoration work on older structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials while maintaining original aesthetics.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to construction site safety protocols and properly handling tools like welding equipment and concrete finishing tools.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading to plan project scope effectively.
- Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques including industrial painting and airless spray application.
- Strong knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues for aesthetic appeal and functional design.
- Skilled in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, renovation carpentry, and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and masonry tools for diverse construction tasks.
- Ability to perform plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, masonry repairs, and fixture installation with accuracy.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards along with handyman experience for general maintenance tasks.
