Overview
ABA Shaping Service LLC Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) to provide in-home ABA services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position primarily involves working with a non-verbal adolescent client, focusing on daily living skills, following directions, safety skills, and functional communication.
The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and experienced in working with individuals who require structured support and consistency.
Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Work directly with a non-verbal teen using evidence-based ABA strategies
- Teach and support daily living skills (e.g., self-care, routines, independence)
- Teach and reinforce following directions (one-step and multi-step instructions)
- Support development of safety skills inside and outside the home
- Implement behavior reduction and replacement strategies as directed
- Collect accurate session data and complete session notes
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and caregivers
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in the client’s home
Pay: $28.00 per hour
