American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Austin, TX, requiring at least 1 year of endoscopy experience and an active TX or compact RN license.

Located in the Endoscopy unit (basement level) of a hospital in Austin, TX
-
Unit consists of 2 procedure rooms staffed by 2 RNs and 3 Techs on day shift
-
Patient ratio is 1:1
-
Common procedures include EGD, colonoscopy, GI bleeds, and ERCP
-
GI equipment and scopes are used
-
EMR system is Meditech
-
Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (day shift)

On-call is required 1–2 days per week; no weekend or on-call requirements on weekends

13-week contract

Active TX or compact RN license required
-
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy RN experience required

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Facility-provided scrubs in ceil blue are provided; hospital scrub color is navy

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
