Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha or Micros, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and beverage service, with attention to presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions smoothly, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods responsibly.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and proper food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, or specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Support team members with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing guest relations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Experience
- Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to serve guests confidently.
- Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants helps in managing multiple tables efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach that makes guests feel welcome and valued.
