Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, particularly during busy catering events and banquets. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by assisting with additional tasks as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a catering or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food service operations and kitchen environments is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
