Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter / Dry Wall / Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, along with experience in dry wall and various construction tasks. This role requires attention to detail, a good understanding of color theory, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Painter / Dry Wall / Laborer will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment
- Assist with renovation projects including drywall installation and fixture installation
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks including carpentry and concrete finishing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards
- Conduct maintenance tasks as required to keep equipment in good working condition
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting
- Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and industrial painting techniques
- Must be able to lift up to 80lbs
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites
