About the Role
Looking for extra income? We have a part-time (up to 20 hours/week), temporary opportunity for an experienced mechanic to help maintain and repair our heavy equipment, snow removal equipment, and company vehicles. Evening and weekend availability is welcome. Hourly rate commensurate with experience.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, snow removal equipment, sidewalk equipment, and company vehicles
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
- Conduct inspections as needed
- Maintain accurate work logs and coordinate with management on repairs and parts needs
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of mechanic experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of heavy machinery, diesel engines, 12v electrical systems, and small engines
- Snow removal equipment experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or trade school certification preferred
- Own tool set a plus
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
