Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Physical Therapists to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with post operative of joint replacement. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and enhance patient mobility. This position is primarily responsible for providing general restorative care to patients.
We are looking for a per diem PT that can help on Thursdays and Fridays
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, and mobility.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience in acute care, orthopedics, inpatient settings, home health, or pediatrics is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
