Human Castle is assisting a client of ours in the Northtowns in the hiring of a on-site full-time Refrigeration Technician. This is a rare position that requires no travel. The hired incumbent will be responsible for the repair of advanced state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment involved in saving lives. Because of who the company is, this position will not last long.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret P&IDs/drawings
- Construct, test, charge, troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems
- Solder copper refrigeration systems
- Bending/flare tubing
- Manage material inventory including refrigerant
- Assist with preventative maintenance activities
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience with repair and maintenance of refrigeration systems
- 2 years of experience soldering
Preferred
- Associates Degree or HS concentration in HVAC-R related field
- Experience in silver soldering and copper tubing construction
- EPA Universal Certification (Section 608) is highly preferred
Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:
- Refrigeration: 2 years (Preferred)
- Soldering: 1 year (Preferred)
