Capital Digestive Care is the largest gastroenterology group in the Mid-Atlantic states. Our Suffolk, Virginia location is staffed with eight fantastic Gastroenterologists as well as several RN, LPN, and Endoscopy Technicians. We are currently seeking a motivated Medical Assistant or Endoscopy Technician to join our 3-suite Endoscopy Unit. Candidates should be professional, have a strong teamwork ethic, and excellent communication skills. This position requires availability Monday-Friday with no weekend, evening, or holiday coverage. Candidates must be able to work 3-4 days, 36-40 hours a week between the hours of 7:00am and 4:30pm.
- Primary responsibilities: provide quality patient care throughout admission, recovery, and discharge; first assist with procedures; promote exceptional work culture; detailed EMR documentation; scope maintenance and cleaning.
- Experience requirements: Knowledge of Gastroenterology is preferred, but not required.
- Proficiency requirements: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, gMed EHR, EPIC and ConnectCare proficiency preferred, but not required.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
