Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Your primary focus will be discovery compliance by both our client and the opposing party. In this vital role, you will support attorneys across a broad spectrum of family law litigation matters, ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of cases from inception through resolution. Your expertise in legal research, document management, and procedural law will be instrumental in delivering exceptional legal support. Duties
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and discovery requests.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw, Florida Family Law Software, PcLaw and and other legal databases to support case strategies.
- Review and organize evidence, depositions, and trial exhibits to facilitate efficient case progression.
- Coordinate client interviews, witness statements, and expert consultations to gather critical case information.
- Track deadlines and court filings to ensure compliance with procedural law requirements across The Treasure Coast and Palm Beach.
- Support project management efforts by prioritizing tasks, maintaining calendars, and facilitating communication among team members.
- Prepare summaries of legal research findings and draft reports for attorney review.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining litigation databases like PCLaw.
- Liaise with courts, opposing counsel, clients and other team members to effectuate coordinate document submissions and court appearances.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal supporting family law litigation cases in a law office setting.
- Strong knowledge of procedural law, family law processes and court rules across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Proficiency in document review, legal writing, drafting pleadings, and managing case files electronically.
- Experience with legal case management software such as PCLaw or iManage is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of specialized areas such as family law, guardianship, Marchman Act, Baker Act law
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and legal research platforms like Westlaw, Florida Family Law Software and PcLaw

Pay: $43,680.00 - $48,000.00 per year
