We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Flat Rate Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately, utilizing flat rate compensation methods. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our customers. Duties
- Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify problems accurately.
- Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and suspensions, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct engine repairs, including diesel engine work and powertrain servicing, utilizing manual handling techniques and power tools safely.
- Execute wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance procedures to optimize vehicle performance.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for complex electrical repairs, ensuring precise troubleshooting and repair of automotive electrical systems.
- Utilize welding equipment and heavy lifting techniques when necessary for auto body repairs or structural modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, adhering to safety standards and quality control protocols.
Experience
- Proven in shop experience or extensive background in automotive repair with a focus on flat rate procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles or similar brands.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools for engine system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration, automotive wiring diagrams interpretation, and heavy lifting techniques required for vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, engine technology, and powertrain components essential for comprehensive vehicle repair.
- Experience in auto body repair, welding, or related mechanical repairs is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time - Pay: $35 - $55 per hour+ dependent on experience, skills and training.
