KC Fencing is a fast-growing fence contractor with a large and loyal customer base — the majority of our work comes from referrals and repeat customers. We build it right the first time, and we're looking for a reliable, dependable, and motivated full-time Fence Installer to join our crew.
Position Summary
Perform skilled physical labor installing custom fencing at residential, commercial and agricultural job sites. Operate hand and power tools, set posts and lines, and help build all types of fence from start to finish. This position is seasonal and may terminate based on weather, current staffing and available work in late Fall.
Essential Functions
- Work with a crew to build high-quality residential and commercial fence projects (wood, composite, vinyl, and aluminum).
- Operate a skid steer with a multitude of attachments
- Set up lines and post spacing; cut and install fence rails and posts.
- Load and unload fence material by hand and with a skid steer.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe job site; secure tools and equipment daily.
Requirements
- Experience with power tools and hand tools (circular saw, chainsaw, measuring devices); general carpentry skills a plus, but not mandatory.
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean, dependable, and consistent, on-time attendance.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs regularly, more than 50 lbs occasionally.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing (drug-free workplace).

Job Type: Full-time | Pay: $18.00 - $21.00/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Day shift; weekends available; overtime as needed
