Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages and ability levels. Duties
- Supervise and monitor children’s activities to ensure safety and engagement throughout the day
- Provide age-appropriate care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities
- Implement early childhood education principles to promote childhood development and learning
- Support behavioral management by encouraging positive interactions and guiding children through routines
- Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily care routines for infants and toddlers
- Plan and facilitate fun, educational activities that stimulate curiosity and social skills
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and needs
- Ensure the environment is clean, organized, and safe in compliance with health regulations
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents
Experience (Preferred but not required)
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Classroom experience in early childhood education or childhood development programs
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with special needs or disabilities is highly valued
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification if needed
- Familiarity with childcare best practices, including childhood development milestones and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with children and their families
